Good morning friends,
Does what you do matter? Or maybe today's question should be, do you care about what you do? Are we devoted or do we operate out of duty?
What's your take on it? I'll share mine at J.A. Marx
Good morning friends,
Do you wear a crown? If not, you might want to consider it. Or maybe you are wearing a crown but you're not aware of it.
I'll share mine with you at J.A. Marx
Good morning friends,
Remember last weeks blog about the Argentine Tango? Little did I know that one of the authors with my publisher Write Integrity was writing a story about a famous tango dancer (or at least Nye used to be famous?). Author Jerusha Agen and I had a good laugh about that, and I decided I needed to interview her. So, if you're ready for your next good, clean read, a romantic suspense, then you've gotta visit us at J.A. Marx
If God chose to dance with us, I firmly believe He’d choose the Argentine tango over the swing (tongue in cheek). Why? Because tango requires hearing w/o ears and seeing w/o eyes. When both Lead and follower are intimately engaged, the dance illustrates beauty, creativity, intelligence, and passion. ♥ ♥ Initiate the Embrace We...
It is a Beautiful day!
Beauty can overwhelm. It can mesmerize us. I love to stand in the middle of nature and rotate slowly to grasp a panoramic view of what's around me. (Please tell me I"m not the only one who does this.) While I was admiring the sparse nature available in our neighborhood, the Living Word drifted through my mind and a song was born--not the melodic kind that needs notes. One from the heart. I'll share it with you, but I'd also love for you to leave a line from your song in the comment section today at J.A. Marx
Good morning friends,
Do you recall how fun it was playing make-believe as a kid? (I know. Some of us still do that as adults.) I think I lived most of my childhood in a fantasy world of my own making. Dressing up as an Indian and carrying a bow and arrow ranked highest on my list of characters to be. I thought for sure I'd be an Indian boy when I grew up--yes, I said 'boy.' I'd love to hear your views as I delve in to the masks we still wear, today on J.A. Marx
WHAT TYPE of footwear do high school marching bands wear today? I’m not sure, but back in the 80s we wore white shoes. We walked in them for miles. We posed forever in formation on a football field wearing those thin, light shoes. The percussion section in particular stood playing at attention while the horns and...
Good day, my friends,
Have you ever said, "I just don't get life." Or maybe: "No matter how much I pray and read my Bible, I can't stop____" (habit, behavior, sin, etc)
I have, and it's frustrating. And I used to think, "All I have to do is hang in there through sickness and struggles while on earth, then after I die I'll be free." Come to find out, that's faulty thinking. It's time to live.

Good morning friends,
It's a love/hate relationship.
Some days are good, some not so much. The news depresses me, and I try to avoid it only to find myself out of the 'world' loop of information. Does the wickedness in the world ever cause you to sit back and take a mental inventory? Is there hope? Is there a reason to keep on trying? There is, but on some days it's harder to find hope. On those days I find myself having to choose. Check out today's blog and share your thoughts on J.A. Marx
