EMOTIONAL ABUSE manipulates and messes with the victim’s perception of God. The abuser’s perversion of their authority can garble God’s character. The longer you’re in relationship with an abuser, the deeper these lies embed. But the Holy Spirit even mends our crippling thought patterns.
♦ ♦ ♦.
God is not your abuser.
The Lord is merciful and compassionate…filled with unfailing love.
He is your Deliverer.
He rescues me from my enemies & saves me from violent opponents.
He desires you.
Nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God.
