The Curse of Disbelief
Because of Christ and our faith in Him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence. Ephesians 3:12
DO WE GET IT?
Or do our EYES and EARS gloss over at the above verse?
DO WE TRULY grasp the depth of this mystery? We declare in our hearts that we believe in One God . . . Good! for the demons also believe this. But are our minds so westernized and sophisticated that that we carry on with our lives as though “coming into God’s presence” holds as much significance as taking out the garbage?
BORN DOOMED. We entered this world enslaved to self-destruction and death.
ENSLAVED
No hope!
No choice!
OVERNIGHT, we were snapped out of that hopeless doom and given an open invitation and access to heaven; we have the supernatural capacity, through Christ, to boldly approach the Creator, Who set the moon and starts in motion, Who created the universe out of nothing.
SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING. This tells me God possesses an endless supply of resources infused with divine power. And His Living Breathing Spirit actually lives inside me with those resources?????
STOP: meditate on this truth for a moment
I’VE BEEN INVITED to experience the width, length, height, and depth of God’s unending LOVE.
HIM IN ME! Where I was incomplete, imperfect and deficient, I am now complete, being perfected, and acceptable.
ARE WE TAKING THIS FOR GRANTED?
HO HUM WHATEVER. . .
ACCEPT THE INVITATION! Christ in you. Then take your place of authority in the kingdom as God’s royal child.
I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory. . . Eph 3: 16-20
AM I LIVING IT?
If not, what’s the point?
I am no better off than one who does not know God.
