Recalibrating One Day at a Time

One day at a time —

Are you, or somebody you love, suffering adversity?
Are you still in the process of overcoming?

Recovery happens one day at a time.

Good-intentioned people yell, “Push harder! Stay busy!”

But the still small Voice whispers . . . “Simplify.”

Don’t deny. Just be still. God is recalibrating. One day at a time.

Be still and know…

The dawn never jumps into place.

A new day always rises slowly…

Death, sorrows, and snares will never be your undoing when the Lord God is your Sovereign.

Adonai is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer.
My God is my rock, in Him I take refuge,
my shield … my stronghold.
I called upon Adonai …
and I was rescued from my enemies.

A ROCK — solid ground where my foot cannot slip.
FORTRESS — unassailable, impenetrable.
DELIVERER — He is my sure rescue.
SHIELD — my protection through faith in Him.
STRONGHOLD — that in which my thinking is grounded.

Cords of death entangled me.
Torrents of (death) overwhelmed me.
Cords of Sheol coiled around me.
Snares of death came before me.

DON’T DENY the strangulating cords of death— The pain is real, physically real.
ACKNOWLEDGE the sorrows— Deep emotions expose the trenches where your heart does battle.
IDENTIFY the snares— Traps (of lies) laid to rule your thoughts.
CAST all of these at the feet of Jesus where they disintegrate in Perfect Love.

In my distress I called on Adonai,
and cried to my God for help.

From His Temple He heard my voice,
my cry before Him came into His ears.
Then the earth rocked and quaked . . .                                                             Psalm 18:3-8

Yes, THE EARTH WILL ROCK AND QUAKE as He comes to your rescue.

“It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:31

When God steps in to answer your cry, the enemy will wish he never touched you.

.

.

Do you need God to open Heaven for you today?
Live one day at a time.

He is recalibrating.
