DID YOU EVER THINK ABOUT SOMETHING SO SEEMINGLY SMALL YET SO BIG?
If you rearrange the letters in the word finger that you get fringe.
Are fingers the fringes of our hands?
Finger of man:
- Small digits of the body
- Fingerprints – evidence of a deed done or used to verify someone’s identity
- Jointed and can sprain or break
- They point to things and at people and do detailed work, like crochet.
- They pinch
- Flick
- Snap
- And they have a protective shield on the tip
The Finger of God:
- WROTE the Ten Commandments
- TRAINS fingers for battle
- CAUSED the plagues on Egypt
- JESUS wrote in the sand w/His finger (the sins of the people?)
- POWER “But if I (Jesus) drive out the demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has already come upon you.” Luke 11
That is a honkin’ ton of power packed into one little divine digit!

-A rich man in Hades begged Abraham to let Lazarus dip his finger in water and cool the man’s burning tongue. (Request denied)
FINGERS: involved in deeds, sin, the law, used in warfare . . .
