Spirit of God
As you live by the Spirit…
“My beloved friends, if you see a believer who is overtaken with a fault, may the one who overflows with the Spirit seek to restore him. Win him over with gentle words, which will open his heart to you and will keep you from exalting yourself over him.” Galatians 6:1 (The Passion Translation)
To win over: to succeed in getting someone’s support or agreement, esp. when the person was previously opposed to you – Online dictionary
Seriously. When is the last time you successfully and completely won someone over with gentle words? No badge, weapon, force or judgment involved. There were simply in a total raging, hot mess over something they’d done until you entered the scene. Yes, you.
That type of “win” only comes by supernatural power from Above.
Only when living by the Spirit of God…
…can we live out our earthly purpose with power and authority.
2 Corinthians 1:22 (TPT)

Galatians 6
As we live by the Spirit…
Love empowers us to help carry each other’s burdens.
As we live by the Spirit…
We will not live in the deception that says, “I’m too important to stoop down and help you.”
As you live by the Spirit…
You will no longer be in bondage to those internal desires you hate but can’t get rid of.
As you live by the Spirit…
You live in freedom and operate in life from a place, or condition, of freedom.
Maybe you’ve already asked Jesus Christ to be Lord of your life—great!
Now, have you genuinely asked God to fill you with His all-empowering Holy Spirit?
BUT…
Only ask if you are prepared for your life to be dramatically transformed into something:
wonderful,
beautiful,
courageous,
favored, and
outstandingly purposeful.
Go ahead and ask. I dare you!
The Favor of the Embattled Spirit
Only in living by the Holy Spirit, can we escape these things:
“The cravings of the self-life are obvious: sexual immorality, lustful thoughts, porn, chasing after things instead of God (idolatry), manipulating others (witchcraft), hatred of those who get in your way, senseless arguments, resentment when others are favored, temper tantrums, angry quarrels, only thinking of yourself, being in love w/your own opinions, being envious of the blessings of others, murder, uncontrolled addictions, wild parties, and all other similar behavior….Those who use their “freedom” for these things WILL NOT INHERIT the kingdom realm of God!”
Galatians 5:19-20
But here’s how the Holy Spirit manifests in us when He rules: LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control (or lordship, the ability to self-govern righteously) Galatians 5:21-23.
↑ Imagine if everyone could govern themselves in a way that would eliminate the need for defense weapons and tactics?
Nothing of the Law has legal resistance toward the limitless qualities of the Holy Spirit.
