Multiplying Spirits

Ready for some amazingly good news?

“FOR BY HIM all things were created that are in heaven and  on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers/principalities or  authorities/powers. All things were created THROUGH HIM and FOR HIM. And He is before all things, and IN HIM all things consist.” Colossians 1:16-17

CONSIST: cohere, hold together

FIRSTBORN OF THOSE TO RISE FROM THE DEAD! v.18

◊ Because Christ rose from the dead, so can I

◊ Because all things hold together in Christ, my world and life hold together; and my day-to-day feelings do not dictate eternal Kingdom realities

◊ Because Christ (preeminently) created ALL things in heaven and on earth . . . I also have authority, for He has given us the keys of the Kingdom

BLOOD RANSOM

◊ Christ sacrificed to buy back the deed to the earth where God had originally told Adam he has dominion over the earth and all that’s in it, and to multiply physically and spiritually.

SPIRITUAL CANCER

◊ If we walk through life in a spirit of hatred, that’s what we spread. A contagious emotional sickness!

◊

LIFE DIVINE

◊ If we advance with a spirit of mercy, that’s what we spread. Also contagious!

◊

NO NEUTRALITY

◊ Sow to the spirit or sow to the flesh, God is never mocked.

 ◊

COMPLETELY UNDESERVING

While we were at our worst: “And although you at one time were estranged and alienated from Him and were of hostile attitude of mind in your wicked activities, yet now has Christ reconciled you to God in the body of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His Father’s presence.“   vv. 21-22

Because Christ is… I also am: Faultless. Blameless. Perfect.
