The Divine Deposit

BUT GOD has “deposited” His Holy Spirit in me, connecting me directly to the Mind of Christ, which is the link to His divine ways.

THE PURPOSE?

• So that I can see what the spiritually blind cannot see and hear what the spiritually deaf cannot hear
• So I can love others through affliction and difficulty
• So that I can outwit my enemies

IF GOD’S ways and thoughts are impervious to evil, then I’d be crazy to NOT seek His perception of life and the world, both of which He created. The thirst for it is in our DNA John 6:32-36!
Or, as if a glutton for punishment, do I settle for my own unenlightened (if not backwards), limited, and vulnerable understanding of myself and my world?

TRUE POWER! The Apostle Paul says, “In conclusion, be strong in the Lord […and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His boundless might.” Ephesians 6:10

THAT is worth aligning myself with!

ENEMIES? Power? We might not have chosen to be in anybody’s war, but here we are. So suit up. It’s part of the adventure of divine ALIGNMENT.

Head-to-toe in Armor

TAKE THE GOLD. Nothing can penetrate divine armor.

FLAUNT IT. What do the “pieces” of my armor look like from the outside: humility, belief, truth, purity, thankfulness . . . all coming from a righteousness of heart through Christ who is God.

GIVE CREDIT. Alignment & armor are recognized through actions and speech that reflect His all-inclusive ways and His un-fractured thoughts. (see part 1)

CONSTANTLY IN PROCESS! He’s not done with us. Nor will He ever give up until He, the Master Craftsman, has completed His aligning work in us.
