SHAPING OUR WORLD. We do this daily without lifting a finger. We just open our mouths.
FREEDOM OF SPEECH. How quickly we turn this liberty into freedom to bash and freedom to kill….with words.
FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE, our words change people. Which one is master over my words: a pure conscience or an uncontrolled tongue?
GUN CONTROL? The more powerful and often deadly ammunition shoots from our lips.
“And like their bow they have bent their tongues for lies.
They are not valiant for the truth on the earth.
For they proceed from evil to evil,
And they do not know Me,” says the Lord. Jeremiah 9:3
Refusing to stand up for the truth will allow lies to prevail* and grow strong in the land. Don’t expect to reap life from where lies were sown.
*Prevail: to proceed, become dominate or win out; to be widespread, or exist everywhere.
GOT POWER? Made in God’s image, we have power in our ‘breath,’ we have power to speak our successes and failures into existence—and the success of those around us. Sadly, “They have taught their tongue to speak lies; they exhaust themselves with sin and cruelty. You inhabit a world of (spiritual) deceit.” ⇐It prevails! Jeremiah 9:5-6
“Do not let unwholesome [worthless] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear you speak.” Ephesians 4:29 amp
Yes, we are constantly forming and shaping our world, personally and globally, through words of life or words of death.

OUR WORD CHOICES COMES DOWN TO FEAR
Jeremiah 9:23-24“Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,
Let not the mighty man glory in his might,
Nor let the rich man glory in his riches;
But let him who glories glory in this:
that he understands and knows Me,
that I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness,
justice and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord.

worldly wisdom…….vs……lovingkindness (wisdom from above)
worldly might………vs……justice (power from above)
worldly riches………vs…….righteousness (riches in heaven)
