Validating. Encouraging. Empowering. This post is for women who fit the description in the title above and for the people who care for them.

Nobody knows what’s really happening in our home
2020 forced most of us to shelter at home 24/7, and sheltering had trapped some of you in a nightmare setting. Did you silently scream for help while “knowing” that nobody could hear you? Friend, grab a cup of coffee and sit with me here so I can share good news with you. You are heard!
Whether you’ve been tormented emotionally, spiritually, and/or sexually by your spouse, you are not alone. Though you might feel silenced, God has heard your cries and caught every tear. Or perhaps you’ve experienced injustice upon injustice while being intimidated into silence and told that you’re the crazy one. I’m here to tell you that you are not the crazy one.
At the same time, I understand how your experience can rip your soul apart. For example, you know the difference between right and wrong yet, you were coerced into making choices you hated. To say “No” would bring a subtle backlash of emotional punches, and your mind and heart simply could not take one more hit. I call this being trapped between a hard place and a rock. “Do I choose to endure another emotional blow, or do I do something my righteous heart deems unthinkable?”

God has not left you
The Lord is your help and strength and He is still sustaining you. Despite your circumstances, He’s still working with you, through you, and for you in ways you might not detect. During my own crisis season, God did through me things I could never have done in my own power or wisdom, and in many situations, I didn’t know what to do or say.
Confusion bullies a Silenced Wife.
Yes, as a woman of God and a faithful wife, you pay a high price each time you make a righteous choice that defies the evil that’s at work against you in your own home. It’s a place no spouse (especially Believers) should ever have to live, for God designed us to love and be loved in a marriage. Pray, “Lord, I ask You to deliver my husband from his bondage, or deliver me from these circumstances.” Be assured of this: every season has a tipping point, that God is faithful, and that His timing perfect.
In Heaven’s perspective, abuse on any level in a marriage is never acceptable. The good news is, despite your current circumstances, the Lord will never stop fashioning you into a beautiful vessel of hope and encouragement for others. And, friend, the day will come when you tell others of His goodness and mercy.
Is There Really Hope?
Yes! If you just prayed the above prayer for God to bring Deliverance, I believe D-day will come for you. God can and will restore you. He will take the delicate strands of your psyche that have been splintered by the constant manipulation, and the shattered pieces of your heart, and He’ll weave them back together to a place of healthy balance.
Today, as former Silenced Wife and an overcomer in Christ, God has equipped me to impart the same healing to you that He worked in me. To equip other silenced wives to live godly in the midst of their marital crisis until D-day comes. God wants to take you from surviving with your head barely above the water, to thriving and soaring in His peace and joy. You will always be God’s masterpiece in progress.
You are greatly loved!

A Voice Speaking Up on Your Behalf
Part of the ministry He has entrusted to me includes a book, The Silenced Christian Wife – Validating, Encouraging and Empowering Women in the Unspeakable Marital Crisis. As a compilation of true and raw stories and testimonies of women in marital crisis, this book includes healing exercises, check lists, and other practical applications to help you navigate your crisis. Download an excerpt for FREE by clicking the link: Silenced Wife Excerpt.
*This resource is also super beneficial in helping concerned counselors, pastors, family members and friends of women in marital crisis. You’ll read firsthand experiences of the evil that is happening in the dark and learn how you can make a difference.
P.S. If you are a wife in marital crisis (or you work with these beautiful women) and you want to connect with me in person (Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex) or online, go to the contact page and send me a note. However, I suggest you begin by reading the book — even if this means you need to have a trusted friend buy it for you and allow you read it at their house so you can stay safe. You will be validated, encouraged, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
