‘THOUGH I awake and heaviness weighs me down;
‘Though my head does not want to lift off the pillow;
I still know Who held my yesterday;
And I am sure Who holds my tomorrow.
O LORD, Lover of my soul.
Do not let me wither in loneliness, today,
Nor waste away in despair.
COME . . . fill my heart with praise for Your name’s sake.
Come . . . lay by my side and scare away my enemies.
Come . . . love me the way no other can. Today.
I BELIEVE You are my all in all;
I have declared this with my mouth!
Now let me be living proof of it to those watching me today.
HOLY SPIRIT, manifest Yourself to me and through me . . . today!
YOU WILL not forsake me in my brokenness.
You will not turn Your face from me because of my doubts.
O Lover of my soul, breathe life into me . . . today.
NOW & FOREVER, You are my Today.
So today I LIVE

BECAUSE You are, were and will be, Today is my best day.
