Stop Avoiding Death
♥ ♥ ♥
“Anyone who loves his life loses it,
but anyone who hates his life in this world
will keep it to life eternal.
Whoever has
no love,
no concern, and
no regard
for his life here on earth, but
despises it,
preserves his life forever and ever.”
STRANGE WORDS! Can we truly live if we’re caught up in ourselves? Lukewarm words could never convey the point. A comparison between living for self and dying to self deserves a strong voice.
To truly live is to die to self
Self is bondage
Self is stagnant
Self is boring
No grace exists for self
Self is lost
Self is stuck
Self is selfish
Self is death
Die to self, and truly live
“Listen carefully:
Unless a grain of wheat is buried in the ground,
dead to the world, it is never any more than a grain of wheat.
But if it is buried, it sprouts and
reproduces itself many times over.
In the same way,
anyone who holds on to life just as it is destroys that life.
But if you let it go, reckless in your love,
you’ll have it forever, real and eternal.”
Now that is poetic beauty

EVEN THE MOST INSIGNIFICANT WORK God is doing in our world is more important that any work we — in our collective thinking — could accomplish. His omniscient outlook surpasses a mindset bound to earth. God’s objectives are eternal and life-giving, while earthly goals are fading and soon forgotten.
Give it up! It’s not worth it.
HIS WAYS are supernaturally adventurous and perpetually thriving
The stuff of earth offers temporary excitement.
Why make do with tomb-life when palace-life awaits me?
Earthly living is so yesterday!
Seek and you will find;
Seek Him with an honest heart.
Holy Spirit living brings fresh revelation, daily.
In earth as it is in heaven.
His Kingdom has come.
It is here! NOW.
