In short: Debt
There is only one thing I’m privileged to owe.
Debt: Something that is owed or that one is bound to pay… to another (dictionary.com)

What would happen if I walked into every meeting with the following attitude?
“Who here do I owe love to this morning?”
It’s more like the privilege of paying it forward. With joy. You don’t hide this debt or hold it back.
God poured out unconditional love for all humanity. He continually pours His love into me through the Holy Spirit. He both loves me and enables me to love others.
Pondering, I push my cart down the aisle at the market. “I think I’ll pay it forward. Who in this place can I love extravagantly? Maybe pay for their groceries?”
But wait. What if they don’t love me in return? All the better!
What if they roll their eyes? Get over it! I’m not there to please them.
Am I too fearful of what others will think? Am I too afraid to step out of my comfort zone to do something outrageously kind? Living in fear is hardly living.
“Don’t owe anything to anyone, except your outstanding debt to continually love one another, for the one who learns to love has fulfilled every requirement of the law,” Romans 13:8 (TPT) emphasis mine.
Father in Heaven, teach me to love as You love. Jesus made no excuses, so help me to stop justifying my fears. Thank You for empowering me to love and for already supplying everything I need to pay it forward.
