How Does God See You?
GOD is EAGER TO SHOW OFF!
“CALL TO ME, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3
Great: unusual or considerable in degree, power, intensity; first-rate, exceptionally outstanding; highly significant and consequential.
Mighty: great in amount, extent, degree, or importance; exceptional; characterized by showing superior power or strength.
I am totally up for some ‘great and mighty.’ Are you?
Your Father has you covered on earth — a home, clothes and food. But The ’things’ of the Spirit are not automatically supplied. They must be sought after.
“Seek FIRST the Kingdom of God and His righteousness…”
“…AND I WILL ANSWER.” You will never hear: “Leave a message, and I’ll get back to you.” Nor will you hear, “Thanks for calling; can I put you on hold?”
God’s hand hovers over the phone, eager to pick up.
“Behold, I will bring health and healing;
I will heal them and reveal to them
the abundance of peace and truth.”
Jeremiah 33:6
ESSENTIAL CLEANSE. After we allow the Holy Spirit to cleanse us from all unrighteousness and sin (I John 1:9), only then do we have the spiritual capacity to “perceive” with greater intensity what’s hidden from the natural eye: God’s abundance of peace and truth. His abundance is ALREADY in front of us, because that’s part of God’s omnipresence, His divine nature. His holy presence. (Matt 5:8)
BORN BLIND. He operates out of His abundance, but we must be positioned to receive from His heavenly abundance. Our own sin (anything below His perfect standards) prevents us from receiving and partaking. We’re born blinded to His goodness. Position your self to receive: James 4:7-10
“Then, (after being cleansed of all iniquity/rebellion against God) it (the city) shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all the nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.” Jeremiah 33:9
HIS VIEW OF YOU. We are His joy, His praise, and His honor—that’s how He views those who have called on Him, surrendered, and repented (verse 8), and accepted our true identity in Christ. (Song of Solomon 2:4)
BILLBOARD. I know it’s cliché, but when the above happens, God’s abundance on you attracts attention; people hear heaven whispering to them. They do a double take. “Wow. I want what you’ve got.” An unbeliever doesn’t always know how to express what his natural mind is trying to decipher. I recall one woman approaching me and saying, “I just feel like I need to talk to you, that you have something … I’m not sure. That probably sounds crazy.” <- Yep. It’s a good crazy when when what is natural encounters the supernatural.
The brighter & cleaner your light, the stronger the pull.
HAVE YOU MADE THE CALL?
The Way of the Embattled Spirit
For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. Carefully determine what pleases the Lord. Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them (by the way you live). It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said,
“Awake, O sleeper,
rise up from the dead,
and Christ will give you light.”
