A Mystery of Time
T I M E
We hear the clock ticking; we see the hands circling the face.
Our wrinkled reflection in a mirror proves time has passed.
This bleeding-of-hours is our reality.
God does not abide by, nor is He confined by, any clock.
Yet He created ‘time’ for us—
A mystery
G R A C E
Death…brought freedom from sin’s hold
Failing the perfect Standard…forgiven according to the riches of GRACE that He willed to abound toward me in Wisdom and practical Understanding. His grace overwhelmed my sin.
All this to fulfill His pleasures!
It pleasured God to forgive me.
To forgive you.
Of everything.
R E C O N C I L I A T I O N
Reconciliation…to restore to communion or harmony between ourselves and another party or situation (death or loss, or a life-change)
When friends reconcile, we encounter a glimpses of a grander reconciling yet to come. Reconciliation is an divinely instinctual motivator.
Every temporal story on earth hints at a bigger eternal Story.
IN TIME…
Christ will bring heaven and earth together
In a Denouement Reconciliation
I N H E R I T A N C E
He is: life, joy, peace, love, kindness goodness, patience, abundance…
He is my inheritance (Ponder the above list).
To be united and together with you pleasured Him.
So He did and continues to do everything—out of His riches and abundance—to make this happen according to His divine, perfect will.
Before you were born into time
He chose this path for you, for me
Because our holy union pleasured Him
No other reason.
S E A L E D
A promissory note written directly on my heart by the Promise Keeper.
Once you believed, you were sealed with His Holy Spirit.
This Spirit is the downpayment in our souls of the inheritance that’s coming.
My honorable purpose (existence): to trust in Christ, which is praising Him and glorious
What does that inheritance look like exactly?
…another exciting mystery.
But in essence, it is, was, and will be: life, joy, peace, love, kindness goodness, patience, abundance, no sorrow, no heavy burdens, nothing that fades, tarnishes, gets old…
Our inheritance cannot be weathered by the effects of time.
Someday our clock will stop ticking.
Another grand-scale mystery: time will run out.
I pray your belief system lines up with the eternal reconciliation.
